Barra de Navidad and the neighbouring villages of San Patricio and Melaque share a wonderful golden beach just half an hour north of Manzanillo on Mexico's Pacific coast. Barra is famous for its spectacular sunsets its wonderful beach and great swimming.

This bustling tourist community has many opportunities to sit on the beach with a good book and a cold drink, snack or have a great meal. There are lots of gift shops, restaurants, live music and great accommodation. The local bus service between the three communities is very frequent and very affordable.
